Our Commitment to Student Safety

 

Lakeside Christian School prioritizes the safety and well-being of every student. In accordance with Florida law, all school employees and agents have an affirmative duty to report any actual or suspected child abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

 

We are committed to transparency, accountability, and ensuring that every concern is taken seriously and handled appropriately.

 

Reporting Child Abuse, Neglect, or Abandonment

Report to the Florida Abuse Hotline:

Reports can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and may be made anonymously.

If you suspect that a child is being abused, neglected, or abandoned, you are required to report it immediately to the Florida Abuse Hotline.

Reporting Educator Misconduct

All employees and agents of Lakeside Christian School have a duty to report misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators that affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student.

 

Examples of misconduct may include:

 

  • Inappropriate behavior or communication with students
  • Failure to maintain professional boundaries
  • Conduct that endangers a student’s safety or well-being
  • Violations of professional standards
