Lakeside christian High School (grades 9-12)
Growing Leaders. Preparing Graduates. Living Faith.
At Lakeside Christian School, high school is preparation for life. Through Christian teachers and coaches, strong academics, daily Bible class, weekly chapel services, competitive athletics, service opportunities, and real-world career pathways, students grow into confident leaders grounded in faith and ready for life after graduation. Our commitment is to send our Lion graduates out into the world fully equipped to live a life that honors the Lord and serves others. At Lakeside, students are known by name, supported in their goals, and guided through important life decisions.
Faith in Action Every Day
Students complete four years of Bible classes and participate in weekly chapel services focused on discipleship and spiritual growth. Faith is not confined to one class period — it shapes classroom discussions, leadership decisions, athletics, and daily campus life.
Academic Pathways
With honors options in every core class, dual enrollment opportunities, workforce certifications, entrepreneurship, and flexible scheduling, students pursue the path that fits their goals — whether that means university, trade certification, or immediate workforce entry.
Commuunity that Builds Leaders
As a K–12 campus, high school students are role models to younger grades, serve through National Honor Society and Chapel Crew, and model Lion pride across campus. Students are known, supported, and encouraged in a safe, community-centered environment.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE Leadership & Growth Opportunities
Because we are a K–12 campus, high school students regularly visit younger grades to read, mentor, and model leadership — strengthening Lion community across all ages. High school students serve and lead in meaningful ways:
-
National Honor Society (NHS)
-
Chapel Crew — planning and leading chapel services for younger grades
-
Yearbook — photography, design, and publication production
-
Digital Art & Web Design — learning the basics and then building real websites for local businesses in upper-level courses
-
Competitive Athletics — representing the Lions with excellence and school pride
A High School Experience Rooted in Purpose
Lakeside’s high school curriculum balances strong academic preparation with spiritual growth. Students may earn honors credit in every core subject area while preparing for college placement benchmarks such as PERT and College Composition readiness. Core courses in English, math, science, social studies, and foreign language are taught from a biblical worldview.
Daily Bible classes and weekly chapel services that focus on discipleship help grow student's faith. As a dual-accredited school (Cognia and ACSI), Lakeside maintains high standards while preserving a supportive, relational environment.
College, Career, and Calling Pathways
Not every student’s future looks the same, and we believe high school preparation should reflect that.
Dual Enrollment
Juniors and seniors may take college courses including English Comp and College Algebra off campus at SPC, with accelerated students having the option to complete up to two years of full-time college while in high school.
PTC Partnership
Through our partnership with Pinellas Technical College, students can pursue certifications in career fields such as HVAC, cosmetology, pharmacy tech, electrical work, and more — all before graduation.
Entrepreneurship Business Class
Students learn to create and operate their own small businesses, gaining hands-on experience from Tampa Bay businesses in marketing, finance, and leadership.
On-the-Job Training
Eligible students can work while completing high school requirements, gaining practical workforce experience and management skills.
