Sports Physical and EKG Day
for Lion student athletes entering grades 6-12: Sports Physical and EKG Screening Day on Friday, July 24, from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM in the school gym

Sports Physical (Required for All Student-Athletes)
All students in grades 6–12 who plan to participate in athletics must have a current sports physical. Sports physicals are valid for one calendar year.
EKG Screening (Required for Some Students)
An EKG screening is required for:
- All incoming 9th grade student-athletes (new Florida law)
- Any student in grades 6–12 who has never participated in school athletics before
Sports Physical Information
- Date: Friday, July 24
- Time: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Location: Lakeside Christian School Gym
- Cost: $20
- No appointment is necessary just show up.
Students who are also scheduled for an EKG may complete their sports physical either before or after their EKG appointment.
EKG Screening Information

- Cost: $20
- Pre-registration is required.
If your family needs financial assistance, simply scroll past the payment and donation section, select "Needs Financial Assistance," answer a few questions, and your student's EKG screening will be provided at no cost.
Students who complete both their required EKG screening (if applicable) and sports physical on July 24 will have all required medical paperwork completed for participation in fall, winter, and spring sports during the 2026-2027 school year.
