Admissions Policy

Lakeside Christian School admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs. Students Will Be Accepted Based Upon The Following:

  1. Campus Tour

    New families can fill our our simple contact form or call 727-261-0937 to schedule their personalized campus tour with our K-12 principal, Jeremy Crane. During your visit, you will have the chance to explore our facilities and classrooms, meet our dedicated faculty and staff, experience the warm and welcoming atmosphere of our school community, discover how Lakeside Christian School can provide your child with a holistic and enriching education. Our tours are designed to be informative and interactive, giving you a firsthand look at what makes Lakeside unique. If you have any specific questions or areas of interest you'd like us to focus on during your tour, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to tailor your visit accordingly.

  2. Complete New Student Application

    Parents/Guardians must fill out and submit a new student application for review by LCS Administration. Click here for the new student online application. Note: there is a $25 application submission fee for each new student. Get an early start! Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year is NOW OPEN. Get started here.

  3. Records Review

    Once new families have toured and submitted an application, the Admissions Team will request student records. Our admissions team and administrators will look at a potential student's grades, testing results, behavior and any past IEP/accomodation plans.

  4. Shadow Day

    New students will then be welcomed on campus with a scheduled Shadow Day where they will be paired with a current student and participate in a normal LCS school day. All shadow students are subject to entrance examinations for correct placement by grade or course level. All students admitted must show and maintain the ability to learn at mainstream pace. Students with an IEP or 504 will be assessed for potential admission. LCS does not have programs or Professional Staff for academic needs outside of the mainstream classroom. Students incapable of self-managing their behavior will not be a good fit in our structured classrooms. LCS does not accept students with a psychiatric diagnosis or behavioral-emotional disabilities.

  5. Notification of Admissions Decision

    The Admissions Team will contact the familly to inform them of the final admissions deicsion for their child(ren).

  6. Finalize Enrollment and Submit Required Documentation

    If a new student is approved for admission, the office and enrollment staff will work with the family to finalize all enrollment packet paperwork, forms, fees, and schoolarship applications. All parents must comply fully with the state of Florida (HRS) immunization policy. All parents must comply fully with federal and state requirements, e.g. immunizations records, birth certificate copy, etc, as well as provide Lakeside with student’s records and transcripts. Once a family's admissions packet is finalized, they will be notified of their acceptance with a congratulatory welcome email.

  7. 100% Inclusive

    It is the policy of Lakeside Christian School not to discriminate on the basis of an applicant’s race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin.

Application For New Students

Parents of students new to LCS will process their enrollment applications online through our partnership with RenWeb. There is a $25 application processing fee paid directly to RenWeb. You will pay online when you submit your application. We will contact you when we receive your application. Your registration fee will be due the month your application is accepted and is payable at the school office. Click here to fill out an online application or to request more information.
